In an emergency: What to do?

What to do if you find yourself in an unsafe situation?

  • Try to stay in places where other people are likely to be and approach others to ask for help.
  • As soon as possible, call the Garching campus security center (reachable 24 hours a day, seven days a week, located in the Mechanical Engineering building) through 089 289 16600 (extension 16600) and/or the police emergency number 110. Making the calls immediately is important, in order to locate the perpetrator. 
  • Afterwards, please report all incidents to the School management
