Essential Concepts in Theoretical Biophysics

The focus of this course is on phenomena and theoretical concepts, which are essential to understand living systems from a physics perspective. Most of these phenomena and concepts are unique to living systems, and have no direct counterpart in other branches of physics. The lecture uses methods from statistical physics and nonlinear dynamics, but is rather self-contained.

Note: Material, updates and more information can be found on the moodle page of the course!. Access is possible after registration in TUM-Online.
