Mara Dauber

Mara Dauber obtained her bachelor's in molecular and applied biotechnology at the RWTH Aachen, where she investigated genetically engineering methylotrophic yeast. For her master's, she enrolled in the Integrated Life Sciences program at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and wrote her thesis about the usage of Graph Neural Networks for tumor classification. In 2024, she joined our experimental lab as a PhD student to work on the physical principles underlying bacterial population dynamics during carbon starvation.
Additionally, she is an expert in troubleshooting autoclaves.
