MSc. Jakub Šimeček

Scientific co-worker

Jakub Šimeček studied chemistry at Charles University in Prague. He obtained his bachelor degree with a work on "Synthesis and coordination properties of ethylenediamine-phosphinic- and phosphonic acids". This was followed by master studies at the Charles University. For his master degree he worked in the radiochemistry at the university in Helsinki on "New methods for fluorine-18 and carbon-11 labeling". In 2009 he started his doctoral work at the Charles University on the synthesis and coordination properties of triazacyclononane-phosphinates. Since 2011 he's continuing his research at TU München. In 2010 he was awarded the 1. prize for young scientists by the Czech and Slowakian Academy of Sciences.
