Dr. Martin Schulz

Scientific co-worker

Martin Schulz studied chemistry at the Friedrich-Schiller-Universität in Jena. His diploma thesis was concerned with "Investigations of reactions between guanidines and bis-(1,3,4-thiadiazolo)-1,3,5-triazinium halides". During his doctoral work he developed a modular pathways for the synthesis of tetra-dentate ligands within the frame of the collaborative research center 436 "Metal-mediated reactions modeled after nature".  Subsequently he changed to the Dublin City University and investigated the properties of bridging ligands for the photocatalytic hydrogen generation. Since 2011 he works at the development of optical tracers.
