Postdoc project

Current Project

- To study the interaction of Immunoglobulin light chain variable domain with EGCG, a green tea polyphenol by solution and solid state NMR. These free immunoglobulin light chains (LCs) forms amyloid fibrils and causes systemic antibody light chain amyloidosis (AL amyloidosis).

- To investigate the interaction of RRM1 domain and Q rich domain of TIA-1 which is RNA binding protein and identified as apoptosis promoting factor. These C-terminal Q-rich domain or low complexity region also known as PRD (prion related domain), are involved in stress granule formation through self-assembly.
