Jeff starts as Technical Assistant
We are very happy to officially welcome Jeff as our new technical assistant! As Jeff had already become an integral part of the team while finishing his apprenticeship, it was now time to celebrate his successful graduation. This was done properly with pizza, flowers, some presents, and of course the well-wishes of all colleagues. Congratulations to Jeff and we are looking forward to continuing to work together in the future.

NTase Xmas Party
On the 13th of December, we celebrated our first Christmas Party in Garching with amazing food from a mini-Wok buffet, freshly made roasted almonds, mulled wine and punch, as well as some local specialities from Denmark, and a session of Secret Santa. In the end, the party not only lasted until after midnight, but also served as a great end-of-year celebration for an event- and successful 2024 and hopefully as the start into an equally exciting and rewarding year 2025 for the NTase Lab.

CPA: Tag der offenen Tür
On the 3rd of October, the TUM School of Natural Sciences opened its doors to interested visitors of all ages for a glimpse into its research facilities and we were happy to take part in this special event. Participants could not only obtain information on Cryo-Electron Microscopy at our stand in the foyer but also had the opportunity to do some hands-on experiments inside our laboratory. The small guests were also very busy answering exciting questions in the in-house ZusammenTun mit der Maus quiz game. Sharing our research with so many interested people was an immensely rewarding experience that we hope to repeat many more times in the future.
