ERC grant

A research team consisting of Johannes Buchner, Marina Rodnina from the Max Planck Institute in Göttingen, and Stanford University has been awarded the highly prestigious ERC Synergy Grant. The project CHAPEROME focuses on the fundamental question of how molecular chaperones support translation. This project could make a significant contribution to understanding and potentially preventing serious diseases caused by protein misfolding.
