M.Sc. Marike Drexler

Research Associate, PhD student

Marike Drexler studied chemistry at the Technical University of Munich. As part of her Bachelor's thesis, she worked on ruthenium(II) phosphine complexes as catalysts for transfer hydrogenations at the Chair of Molecular Catalysis (Prof. Kühn). In her subsequent Master's degree program, she chose to focus on inorganic chemistry and biological chemistry. She wrote her Master's thesis at the Chair of Medicinal and Bioinorganic Chemistry (Prof. Casini) on the topic of "Palladium-based metallacages exo-functionalized with gold(I)-N-heterocyclic carbenes as drug delivery systems – synthesis and stability studies". Since September 2022, she has continued her research in the field of supramolecular chemistry at both the Chair of Medicinal and Bioinorganic Chemistry and the Chair of Pharmaceutical Radiochemistry.
